1 dead, 8 injured from five-vehicle wreck east of Crockett

Houston County, T.X. – One person is dead and eight are injured after a five-vehicle crash late Monday morning. Four vehicles were stopped at a highway construction zone when an 18-wheeler hit one from behind and caused a chain-reaction collision. One of the eight injured was a construction worker at the site.
