2 Injured in 2-Vehicle Car Accident at Chester Township Intersection in New Jersey

May 29, 2012 – Chester Township, N.J. – On Tuesday, May 22, 2 women were sent to the hospital after an accident occurred at an intersection. The accident happened shortly after 4:20 p.m. on Route 206 at an intersection with Fox Chase Road.
According to an article on Patch, the driver of a 2011 Jeep was attempting to make a left turn onto Route 206 when she turned into the path of a 2011 Honda CRV. The 2 vehicles ended up colliding in the intersection.
Both drivers were injured in the accident. The Jeep’s driver, Jeannine Driscoll, 23, was taken to Morristown Memorial Hospital and the Honda’s driver, Susan Dean, 48, was taken to St. Clare’s in Dover. Dean is said to have suffered minor injuries.
The southbound lanes of Route 206 were blocked to traffic for about an hour following the accident. Traffic was detoured to Old Chester Road. Police are still investigating the accident.
