Posted on Dec 20, 2013
If you are an injured worker in New Jersey, we have good news. The New Jersey Compensation Rating and Inspection Bureau is raising weekly benefit rates for 2014. This means you may be entitled to more money if you need to be out of work or you can show a permanent injury.
The maximum weekly benefit with respect to all injuries – except permanent partial disabilities – will increase from $826 to $843. The minimum weekly benefit will also increase from $220 to $225.
If you or someone you love has been hurt at work in NJ, you may be entitled to workers’ compensation benefits for your injuries. These benefits may include fully paid medical care, pay for missed time at work, and a cash settlement.
