One of the Most Dangerous Intersections Will Finally Receive Traffic Signal to Reduce New Jersey Accidents
Posted on Mar 22, 2012
March 22, 2012 – According to Shore News Today, one of the most dangerous intersections will finally receive a traffic signal.
With yet another accident occurring at Rt. 50 and Hope Corson Road (known as the “T” intersection), plans are being made to install traffic signals. This latest accident, which took place earlier in March, left a vehicle totaled. The good news was that no one was injured.
However, over the past few years, there have been many serious accidents and some that almost have become serious. The biggest culprit is the sightlines, although heavy traffic has also contributed.
Plans are now in place to repave Hope Corson Road. Once that project has been completed, new traffic signals will be installed by the New Jersey Department of Transportation.
No matter what the cause of your serious car accident, if you or someone you love has suffered serious or fatal injuries due to a negligent driver or the city’s lack of responsibility of maintaining safe roads, compensation could be available. You may be entitled to damages which address your medical bills, lost wages, pain and suffering, and more.
